    Elizabeth Hubley at Siena Wellness is a warm and caring yoga instructor who builds a sense of community within her practice. She loves working with moms-to-be and new moms.

     

    Circle Yoga is located in NW Washington DC and offers a host of popular classes and workshops for the prenatal and new mom.

    Mental Health Practices Specializing in Postpartum Anxiety or Depression

    Julie Bindeman at Integrative Therapy of Greater Washington is a skilled practitioner, who brings a wealth of experience and care to her patients. I especially like to send my clients, suffering from postpartum mood disorders, to her. She and her excellent team of clinicians are based in Rockville, MD.

     

    Kirsten Chadwick and Jennifer Grosman are at The Center for Maternal Wellness located in NW Washington DC. They are both empathic, dedicated therapists who have a deep appreciation for new mothers and the postpartum mood disorders they struggle with.

    Ursula Sabia Sukinik at Birth You Desire is a well loved Bethesda, MD birth doula. I love her energy. Ursula’s devotion to her clients is obvious. She and her team also offer online and local childbirth classes.

     

     

    Stork Childbirth Education is located in NW Washington DC. They offer Infant CPR, childbirth education or breastfeeding classes, among others. I love the friendly, skilled instructors and the intimate setting.

    Dr. Sheri Hamersley is at the heart of Maternal-Fetal Medicine Associates of Maryland, in Rockville. If problems arise during pregnancy, for the fetus and/or mom-to-be, Dr. Hamersley is the one to see. She works in conjunction with your OB as she cares for you during your pregnancy.

     

     

    Prenatal or Postnatal Acupuncture, Massage, or Craniosacral therapy

    For craniosacral therapy, many of my clients have gone to and highly recommend Kadin Family Chiropractic and Wellness Center in Rockville, MD.

     

    Nikki Richman is a lovely, attuned and caring acupuncturist in Bethesda, MD. If you are new to acupuncture, she will be happy to chat with you, answer all your questions and make sure that you are feeling comfortable in her intimate setting.

     

     

    Ohana Wellness, in Bethesda, MD has many practitioners offering acupuncture, massage, craniosacral therapy and other wellness services. They offer convenient online scheduling.

    The Breastfeeding Center of Greater Washington is located in downtown DC and offers a wealth of classes for prenatal and postnatal women; support groups; infant CPR and more. They also offer breast pump rentals and the opportunity to try on different baby carriers.
